Author really tried hard to make reader sympathize with the father. Don't know about others but it made me GAG more. He didn’t love his wife even once, he just took everything for granted. He thought of someone loves him, it automatically give him the free pass to do everything.
Nah, i dont think the author tried to make us sympathize with the father esp after reading the author's note. Author actually mentions that she wanted to show how trash of a person, husband and dad he is. And while reading his POV i actually felt it. I did not feel a tid bit of "sympathy" to the dad. Im cursing him in my mind all throughout lmao
