I don't know why people say it is not perfect revenge. Everything doesn’t need to end in romantic settings. Minjae is worst person who use others and then use a victim card. I got that he had a really bad childhood but killing a friend, the only friend who was beside you. You hated him because he had a good life? What sorry excuse of a human being! And top it of you left a kid who was in the same position as you and even worse at that. You didn’t feel remorse for your wrongdoing and proceed to find happiness.
And the dad killed himself because he only know that is how he can be in peace. He hated Minaje as murderer and also loved him because he raised him but his hatred and love for his own son was bigger and he knew Minaje wouldn’t feel remorse until he die.
That is the best ending in my opinion. Father can finally be in peace and Minjae would finally get punished for his bad deeds.
Many people in comment section label Minjae as "child psychology". Do you know why we human are called intelligent species? Because we can choose what to do. We can choose to be good or bad. We can choose to be cruel or understanding. We can choose to live with trauma and still help people in need. It is all about choosing. It is you who choose to be good or bad. So victim, childhood trauma these aren’t the only option you have to live with. Some people here acting like Minjae had only one option, killing an innocent person to surpass his anger that come with being a victim. It is laughable how people trying to justify a murder by saying he has trauma and not evil.
Take it as an example, did Lee Sunhoo tried to do exact same thing that Minaje did? No! He tried to do good even though he had worse than Minjae.
