First of all, mercenary went to duke house hoping that he got a job as a "soldier". He even mentioned that. And, wizard didn’t even went to his house. They are the one who raided his house. And for the emperor, he was literally drunk and got raped.

Just to be clear I don't care about either of these characters and am not emotionally invested in this fictional story at all but still don't think he deserves what happened to him.

It's about power and control for abusers. What Raymon went through before meeting young Winter was fucked, but he knew there was something deeply wrong with the kid and proceeded to abuse him and expose him to sexual violence whether willingly or not.

During this flashback he's mad that Winter isn't reacting the way he wanted him to 'cause he thought it'd be entertaining watching someone break and fall deeper into despair than he currently was. Raymon wanted to hurt someone more fragile than himself. Push him past the boundaries and really break Winter.

Well, he got what he wanted in the end. Winter broke in the worst way imaginable and now Raymon is reaping the seed he had sown himself all those years ago. I feel no sympathy for him treating someone so young and traumatized like that.

They all are about rape and confinement. But they don't see the bigger picture here. Yes, this is wrong but there is nothing to feel sorry about Ray. That is the outcome of his doing.

They see Winter rape and confine Raymon and think nothing can excuse that. Even tho Ray groomed and abused tf out of Winter when he was younger and clearly vulnerable. Raymon knew something was wrong with Winter from the first time he saw him and planned to ruin him even further. He wanted there to be someone more miserable than him and he used his own hands to do so.

Tbh, as a victim of csa and a couple other incidents, if I found out any of my abusers were raped I'd probably give a standing ovation and drink a glass of wine to it.

Raymon is only suffering the consequences of his own actions. If he had just left Winter alone and sought help they could've had a clandestine meeting where Raymon could help Winter recover from his own trauma. I have no sympathy for him.

I think its because theyre fated mates. Thats why they were each given a chance after the first fucked up life. This season is Aeroc's 2nd chance so his will be more happier as for Kloff's 2nd chance, he will suffer some.

remember in the first timeline that aeroc(1) was deeply in love with kloff and felt deep remorse for what he did to rapiel. so all the suffering he went through at the hands of kloff(1), he believed he deserved it as retribution for harming rapiel and ruining their marriage. i believe he felt conflicted by the fact that he desired kloff but also felt undeserving of him for his actions(rapiel dying) and believed that the only way he could get intimate with kloff(1) was thru kloff’s violent sexual desire for him. that’s why imo he didny really put that much off a fight (captivity aside) when his children were taken away from him. because he kinda felt that was his penance to rapiel. his death in first timeline was poignant. so when he was given the second chance, he didn’t want to repeat the same mistakes that would lead kloff(2) to turn into the same terrifying man as kloff(1). he felt that THIS was the opportunity to actually redeem himself from his sins in timeline(1) and the way to do that was not to infere with kloff’s and rapiel’s relationship and even go as far as to help them despite still being irrevocably in love with kloff. of course i think he felt hurt by what happened to him in timeline(1) but the narrative isn’t a revenge-plot but more of a fix-it plot. he wants to fix the first timeline in timeline(2) to prevent both his financial downfall and rapiel’s suffering. and the characters in tl(2) haven’t caused harm yet so can you try to punish someone who hasn’t harm you and who only harmed you as retaliation for you actions? not really. kloff(2) wouldn’t hurt him because he(aeroc(2)) hasn’t done anything that warrant kloff’s detestation. the maids dislike for him in timeline(1) is because she knew of how he harmed rapiel and kloff’s hatred for him. she can’t hate him now because she has not incentive to. and it would be a bit absurd to try and punish someone for action they committed in their past life. idk this is just my opinion.

Yes, I know what you are talking about. It is just my POV because 1st of all, I just hate Kloff. He really disgust me. And Second, I could never go back to him if I was Aeroc. This is really traumatizing. Even if you love someone to death and they did worse thing (I mean come on Aeroc deserve punishment but not this extend), I could never go back to them.
And for the revenge part, it is just me. My anger issue won't let anyone who torture me in my previous life let in peace. I would stab them the moment I regain memory (and even if they didn't do anything YET doesn’t mean they wouldn’t do it, because a person's nature never change, NEVER)

you’re right. it’s just YOU. you’re not the character. aeroc is aeroc and you are you. that’s why you have your own opinions of how you’d respond to the situation if you were the titular character of the narrative. aeroc’s characterisation isn’t based on you. you’re allowed to have certain sentiments regarding certain characters. you’re allowed to dislike their actions and feel anger and disappointment towards them. i was just explaining to WHY (based on the plot lines so far) aeroc doesn’t act the way you were expecting him to. he is written to act that way. it’s part of character.
