havent you guys seen movies like valentines day or love actually? this is the same. you think the first couple you see as reader/viewer is the main couple but thats not the case. every couple will have equal/similar screen time, no couple is actually a side couple here. you might like a specific couple more coz their story/trope resonated with you, but that doesnt mean the whole thing should revolve around them ( ̄ー ̄)

also, the author is known for portraying different scenarios in a way that all of them or most of them are interconnected with each other. her previous work, 'seasons of blossom' revolved around different seasons and how it was represented through the youth of the characters, just how seasons change, the characters also transitioned from one to another. all the SoB readers have special attachment to bomi-jinyoung's relationship coz they were the ones we got introduced to at first but we saw what the author was cooking when hamin came into view and tbrh SoB is one of the manhwas i hold dear, so before you read this, go and read that first.

im not trying to defend taeju but i dont think its him playing victim, rather hes acknowledging that euihyun WAS a victim yk? now idk what happens in the next chap so im speculating abt taejus feelings, but its probably along the lines of how he FINALLY understood the gravity of what he did to euihyun. taeju is a red flag, and he also knows he's a red flag but he was trying to do better. i used to think that even if euihyun forgives him, i wont and thats precisely what went thru his head in the last panels, just like the readers (me and ors maybe) wont forgive him, he shldnt forgive himself either.
season 1: them as highschoolers
season 2: them as college kids
lets make more seasons of them adulting, getting married, having kids aaaand moreeee.
seeing bomi and jinyoung with his sister made me think of how domestic they look, and i cant wait to see it happening.
