I totally agree on both points(づ￣ ³￣)づ and the backstory of both leads in wolf queen is really not compeling, it doesn't make you invested into story or characters. Ok, the male lead has a bit of backstory, with losing his kingdom and all, but what do we get out of it? Instead of passionate, justice fueled powerful man we get a guy who is so powerless he lets them dress him up as a woman just to survive（￣へ￣）like his character development went in reverse #－.－) also I just couldn't get attached to female lead, so with no great characters and no good plot to keep me there, I dropped it like a hot potato ╮(￣▽￣)╭ meanwhile in light & shadow they nailed it. FL has great backstory, ML has great backstory, both have great characters or character development, even minor characters get really good side stories and we get a great plot as well. 10/10 from meლ(´ڡ`ლ)
