some of us (if not ALL) miss Agni and think/know that his death was pointless. He died by the hands of rCiel...BUT Souma thinks it was oCiel....

I don't think that rCiel would let any true harm come to oCiel. Yes he did watch from the sidelines but based off what we've read, i think that he and undertaker are sort of on oCiel' s side. They both keep saying that they want to protect Ciel, they do not want him dead.
As for rCiel killing Agni, I think we need to wait till the facts about that are revealed. rCiel has no reason to kill Agni that we know of. So I'm intrested to know his motive for that if he really dis kill Agni. No death in this series so far, has been pointless. Remember that sensei is very clever
