I feel like authors writing these stories are the kind to dismiss rapes cuz the victims must've secretly enjoyed it or whatever. That's the message this series and a lot like it is sending. It's ok cuz the uke secretly enjoyed it, even though the uke obviously didn't consent and was freaking out during the act.

I do agree that ability is important. However, it seems the uncle wouldn't be satisfied even if Jinyao did give up his position, which is why Jinyao is fighting his uncle.
