Sorry for the late question, but is there any difference? I mean, does the lube make it more easier than the Vaseline? Or maybe the lube is for the ass and the Vaseline for the front?
Although vaseline can be used as a lubricant, is not made for sex so it is not particularly that great for sex. It has has strong staying power so it's difficult to wash away and could increase infection. And apparently since it's oil-based, it's incompatible with certain types of condoms. Also, a side issue is that it's oily and greasy so I'm not sure if it feels all that great to have that sticking to your hands and stuff and having to clean up afterwards sounds like a pain. So, although vaseline can be used as lube, best would be actual lube. But, for guy x guy I guess some lube is better than no lube.

I feel for the ex on just when he finally started to move on, the lover who he thought was dead came back into his life. That would fuck anyone up.
