I’m so disappointed in the parents of our girl. I get it. You both have to ensure you have your heirs and that daughter is your daughter but they needed each other! Everyone was against Arke and had no one to rely on not even her dad. In regards to our girl, mom seemed to be so AWOL and flaky that she was often alone too. They both needed each other to rely, support and simply be there for them! However bc of mom’s stubbornness and dad/grandpa’s horrible communication skills/actions, the girls never met when they needed to!
I’m sorry but im just mad at the negligence of these parental figures.
I’m praying they meet soon and our girl becomes a knight soon.
I do like these OP ML stories. It’s fun tho I will say I’m glad we are getting more guys. I don’t mind all the girls but at the same time I’m like can’t he have a guy bestie?
I feel like this story is slowly losing some of its components or rather it’s getting too big for itself. We barely see him struggle with his illness. It makes sense if they show how he got rid of it mostly so we don’t think about it but they haven’t address it in a while.
With him trying to get his memory back to being a spy (nonexistent at this point) to navigating all these minor/major antagonists to fantasy school life, it is a lot.
Don’t get me wrong I still like our boy. He’s a fascinating fun character so I’m staying to see what happened but I’m a bit worried how they are gonna handle all these components they brought into this story.
Side note: I really would have loved a more antagonistic ML but that’s just me.
It’s so fast paced. I love that how they didn’t brag out the coming of age ceremony or the relationship or anything important. The characters are so great (I wanna marry the dad of ML). I’m praying this doesn’t get messed up in some way *knocking on wood everywhere near me*
So there’s an evil Leon from the past that is merged with the fire spirit that loves her, but the contractor is in control? Or are they not? In either scenario, I’m wondering who is truly in control? Who saved her before? Was it evil Leon? Was it fire spirit? Was it the contractor?
Who is the contractor? Are we getting another ML?
I got so many questions! lol
As a small complaint, I wish I got to see her and the kids more being a cute family
I FREAKING LOVE THE MONKEY KING!!! So the fact we get not only more lessons with him but full on chapters with this epic monkey king makes me so happy!!!
That reaction is giving second ML vibes and I’m like oh I didn’t know we would getting a second one cause the story didn’t feel like we needed more than one.
Wow a revenge plot that is fast paced and gets resolved in a decent amount of time?! ITS A MIRACLE!! lol
Honestly I really enjoyed the story. Our boy was a great protagonist to follow with his brilliant cunning mind and great fighting skills. Did his powers seem very much like Solo Leveling? Yes but I still think our boy had enough original/unique powers, skills and items to make him different from that guy. The world itself was well done and I did enjoy some of the side characters.
If I had put on my critical writer’s hat, I wish we got backstory on messiah guy. Not to redeem him or anything but to get us to really understand his mind and dislike him even more. Those three good people in Messiah made me wish that our boy had an actual relationship with them or other members who had the same noble ideology as him. We saw a lot of the bad people on the opposing side and their relationship with him but I’d like they showed the few good seeds, interact with him more and him planting seeds of doubt about messiah guy before that big ending.
Overall it’s still a great story and I’d reccommend to anyone who wants to read a cool and epic revenge action story.
