I appreciate that my boy knows his Norse mythology. For those don’t know the story, I’ll give a mini summary:
The gods wanted to fortify their home. They got an offer from this giant but he said he’ll do it only for the hand of their beauty goddess, the sun and moon. They gave him an impossible time limit but he and his horse were good at their jobs. He was close to finishing everything and the gods didn’t wanna pay so they told Loki to distract/slow down the workload. Loki disguised himself as a hot horse to lure the stallion away thus stopping the work. However that meant that the horses did the deed. The giant got upset at his treatment but Thor killed him before it got worse. Vahalla was secure, the gods didn’t have to pay anything and Loki gave birth to an eight legged horse that Odin rides all the time.
I’m sorry but I’m team professor. Idk the idea of archdemon who wants to rid of humanity falling in love with a human just appeals to me. I know she’s gonna be with white haired boy judging by the comments but I’d go for the professor.
Also can we talk about mc creating this extremely complicated world? It’s supposed to be a romance story but the layers and lore and details of the fantasy genre are shoved into this story when those details technically were not needed. Was her company trying to be so different that she did all this? Just musing here.
Me too, I like the professor too. But maybe because of the age gap that was quite far, the author didn't push him as the ML? But still doesn't make sense lol ...... why
If the scene with him is not a lot, I swear, I make one fanfic in my own about him—idc if I'm in rush to finish my thesis this semester, and idc if result will be embarrassing, I'm going to read it by myself anyway
Maybe blame professor Quirrell but I don’t trust stuttering idiots. The fact he keeps choosing the wrong/difficult paths could mean his magic is gone and is guessing or couldn’t manage his magic in that dungeon but….theres a third option. He could be wanting these guys to die so he can get what’s at the end of the dungeon. He could also be working for the necromancer (I doubt he is one bc Riley and book guy would have been able to recognize this).
To suddenly develop a romance subplot that has not been hinted or expressed by both parties (barely on her side, some yes but still not enough in my opinion) is such bad taste. If this was the intention all along, then develop it better next time alongside the other plot points. There are ways to do that.
I just think this is just so annoying.
