With that type of establishment, it's very likely that they'll be thoroughly checked, the clients, the birds, and the studs. The owner seems to pride himself of the place's reputation. Otherwise, with his money and the type of "paradise" he is trying to portray, it seems very unlikely that he'll be careless and let someone STD-ridden in especially with how careful he is with selecting his clients and workers

The porn actors are also thoroughly checked, though the % of them carrying HPV and other STD are pretty high. Btw, HPV can be transmitted even through condoms. The porn actress Sacha Grey told how she caught STD few times and had to be treated during her career in the industry. The risks are the same in prostitution. Plus they are not wearing condoms here.

These types of special clubs do background checks and require health checks, among other things. They generally only allow members with certain standards (one of them likely being not a filthy sleazebag that actually gets a test and waits for the results). Wealthy and in-the-closet type of people are probably the main clients of these clubs and there is a much smaller chance they have illnesses due to not sleeping around in certain circles and all that. Plus, they will surely want to see test results too as to not get infected. 'One hand washes the other', as they say. It's a mutual interest after all.

This actually is very real in portrayal even if these clubs are more secret in real life and hard to find.

These are a lot more exclusive and difficult to find aka unless you have high status or are very very rich and be a "member" to be able to participate. These "birds" have to be of good quality and most likely don't have the freedom that regular prostitutes do. These are most likely bought and groomed from sex slave rings or the like and "cleaned" up to look very shiny.

They can demand their clients use condoms and enjoy good social and medical protection. It's different in places where it is illegal: there, it's organized crime that takes care of it, and of course they don't give a damn about the fate of the prostitutes, nor wheter they are children or adults, girls or boys, safe or not. If one dies, they just put an other instead. it's not the actual activity of prostitution that is a problem, but the illegality of it in most countries. It has always existed, ever since humanity started existing, and you're not going to eradicate it by telling people they're naive to find it exciting to fantasize about it.
Prostitution doesn't need to be "destructive", it can be if left to scrupleless people though. So it's them who are bad, not the actual "profession".

Now, can you tell me personally that you are happy seeing someone selling themself in order to put food on the table - with all the legal and social system those people can benecify -, or do you think there are better ways to make a living? It seems no one has read my comment about STD like HPV. HPV is a disease that can be passed through condoms. Many porn actors carry that disease.

If you are not aware of the fact that these kinda clubs do exist in real life then that's fine, but you should go and do research instead of telling others they are wrong. That's childish and ignorant.

The author knows how this club operates (and not just because he/she wrote the story), so do some of us, and if you bothered doing research on this you would actually find out that it's true. We already told you why these businesses are more safe than regular brothels. Health Testing. Do some research, will you? We didn't say it's safe by 100%, but it is very highly unlikely illnesses will be given to either party due to the strict regulations and requirements.
And it is false to say that there would be a ton of businesses like these. They require a lot of money and time investment, which rich people might have, but they likely have no interest in building a brothel. On top of that come business licences and other things.
So, no. It is not easy to build these businesses and not everyone can work there either as it requires a certain standard of apearance, ability as well as personality and sexual orientation depending on the establishment.

Making something that can't be eradicated illegal, is exactly what makes it problematic, Sanctuary. You don't want it to be legalized because the very thing offends you; but I swear, making something illegal never has made it go away. Like alcohol, or drugs, or even abortion...All it does is make it go "underground", in other words, taken over by organized crime. The only thing you're doing, as a government, by illegalizing something like that, is giving it completely into the hands of criminals, thus making it worse on everyone.
As somebody said higher up: there actually ARE plenty of people -women and men- who do it and like it. It is not a horrible thing to do on itself; it's the abuse that goes with it (mainly because of the fact that it's often in the hands of criminals, because of the illegality of it), that makes it unpleasant.
