The pacing of this webcomic is a bit off. Conversations go on and on in a way that isn't organic. There was no reason for the MC to explain in minute detail about the preparation process from a management perspective to a guy who clearly already said he doesn't care.
Adapted from a webnovel. The pacing in this is much faster than the novel, so at least there's that lol
Yeah I know but there are plenty of other webnovels that have much better adaptations of the source material to the webcomic medium in terms of dialogue and visualization through art. The artist is great and has done great paced work before (Max Mojave's Case) so the stilted dialogue and off pacing is really noticable lol.
Agreed. I tried reading the novel too but I had to drop it cause it was also too damn slow…like unnecessarily slow for no reason. I love slow burns but it just drags on

Okay, that makes sense why Rain cursed Erwar instead. He's obsessed and malevolent, and he wanted to drag Erwar down into hell with him. Instead of cursing the man who tormented him, he used his opportunity to curse the man who did nothing wrong instead. Sentenced him to be raped and mentally tortured.

Rain literally summoned the devil and cursed the wrong man??? Almost like he was too much of a coward to curse the real person who made him miserable so he channeled his hatred into someone more accessible. Something terrible was done to him but taking it out on the man who did nothing wrong and literally tried to help him makes him terrible too.
I love this. The art, the characters, and the story. I wanna see the brother though!
