Rereading chapter 5 and Ahn Pyeonghwa mentioned "people" who didn't like Incheol's cigarette smoke in the apartment building. But according to Advisor Cha, the building's 1st and 3rd floor were supposed to be deserted. Incheol and Pyeonghwa were the only two persons living there.

There are several times Pyeonghwa was showed standing alone in a reflection in the mirror or glass door. I think it's intentional because it shows reality while hinting at something deeper going on (people who hallucinate irl also rely on reflections to confirm what's real and what's not).

I'm willing to bet that Pyeonghwa is seeing things and the only way to shut them up is to be knocked out. That's why the story is titled "Peace of God". Incheol accidentally gave him the exact thing he wanted by putting him to sleep (lol).
