It was Empress x Lumiere. Then to keep the Empress in check and as if he was low key jealous, Emperor "fell in love" with Lumiere and made her a concubine and got her pregnant. Now, to remove the only thing connecting Lumiere to the Emperor, so that the Empress can have her all to herself, she planned on killing Saphir, but Lumiere being the kind and sweet person that she is + it's her own son the Empress was trying to kill, ate the poison food herself. And now, Empress is just projecting her affection for Lumiere to Saphir. Though the Emperor hasn't made an appearance yet, so we'll see.

On chapter 81, MC said that the will be the one to get out of the house to cool off and will be back tomorrow. So I'd assume that he slept somewhere else, right? So how come after the dream/flashback Gyeol was by his bedside ready to wipe his tears away.
