this is truly one of the precious gems from all the isekai manhwas ive read. ik it has its problems, like having a slow paced story and an inconsistent art style, but ive never been this attached with a manhwa before its actually insane. in a generic pool of transmigration stories, i genuinely dont think there'll be another miss not-so sidekick or at least something as funny as this shit. because believe it or not, ive reread this thing numerous times and i still find myself laughing to it. ive tried reading other comedic isekai manhwas but so far, nothing has matched mnss' level. and the fact that i read this like 3 or 4 yrs ago? LMAOOONDIDNKDK i cant believe its been that long. within those yrs i personally think that it still hasnt been dethroned as the most iconic and funniest masterpiece in the entire isekai genre. simply proves that its a classic frrr

here are more details to make u grasp the story better. ive read the light novel and looking back at the manhwa adaptations, it's kinda lacking in info and needs further explanation about the plot, which makes people easily misinterpret the behaviors of some characters, most especially killian. killian's character needs justice, because homeboy is certainly not getting any with the manhwa adaptation
let's start off with the author, K. K is actually suicidal in her og life as far as i can remember. she lived a horrible life, and as a way to cope through it, she made lise, the perfect fl, as an inspiration. K has always dreamt of being lise because unlike her, lise was everything. as ive mentioned, K is suicidal. she ended up offing herself and her death wish was to be lise or at least be like her in her next life. as soon as she opened her eyes, she found herself as lise sinclair, the very own female lead she admired.
at first, being the main protag was fun. until she realized that she's sorta stuck in a loop, which made things dull. to make things "interesting", K planned on transmigrating souls in edith's body while setting up impossible conditions for the ediths to win, in order to guarantee that in each lifetime, lise wins and lise will always get her happy ending. by setting conditions, i meant altering or manipulating the perceptions of the main leads of the story, most significantly killian and cliff. that's why edith had a hard time developing a decent relationship with killian, because killian was basically programmed to act that way. the only way killian will get a sense of free will is if edith is able to go through the tough challenges of K's terrible obstacles.
as K's authority declines due to edith overcoming all her conditions, we can apparently notice that killian is gaining more empathy towards edith, slowly revealing what killian's real intentions and feelings were.
now regarding lennon, the reason why he was kind to edith in the very first place was because of the fact that he's only a minor character. meaning K doesn't really have much control towards lennon because K's authority is catered towards the main leads of the story. unlike killian, lennon wasn't brainwashed into thinking that edith was a villainess.
that's why i find it unfair for people to compare lennon and killian's affection to edith, despite knowing that killian is literally being manipulated by K, leaving his real thoughts being disregarded. it's unfair to compare the two, when one is showing raw emotions while the other isn't allowed to because they do not have the privilege. it's like comparing the thoughts of a free man to a man who is forced to submit in a system. of course it's apparent for both of these men to showcase different behaviors, because they were in different circumstances.

we can all tell that carcel and ines were undeniably flawed yet well-crafted characters. this is why i find this manhwa very appealing considering that in a hundred transmigration manhwas, its rare to see imperfect main leads that arent actually annoying. aside from that, i barely see a manhwa that can balance its plot AND smut scenes this good. like even if you read this solely for the smut scenes, i think once you tried reading for the plot, you'll eventually get invested along the way.
