Novel spoilers confirm the FL is infertile due to her condition AND so are the elves. Since the elves are born from the tree, they have no need to procreate the same way humans do.

(Though there wasn’t much detail) I assume that all the elves were only born from the tree. Female elves are also very rare. So multiple males can be born from one tree, but only a single female elf can be born from the same tree. Plus they all consider each other like brothers and sister, so the female elf born from the same tree leaves her OG group to go to another group from a different tree and sticks with that group to be in a relationship.

Hi! Biology enjoyer here. Cum and sperm are two different things. Basically he stills shoots fluid, but he doesn't have any sperm count (which are the ones that fertilize the egg).
Vasectomies are not pregnancy-proof though, you have to monitor the sperm count at least once a year to make sure you are still "shooting blanks". So yeah, he might accidentally impregnate our MC if he hasn't monitored his sperm count since he got the procedure.
