I dont think the end was dissatisfactory at all. We have these expectations from fiction based on the tropes they fall into but I find the authors attempt to make this close to reality very commendable. Its holistic and natural. It's sad to see the rating of such a good story so low just because everyone didn't accept the outcome.

You’re saying in that whole time you didn’t already know each other well enough??? I think I’m okay w the ending but I gotta say, him having a gf threw me off lmao but I think that’s just because of the same reason why you don’t see natural endings in things like this. She is his destined and he is hers. Imagine God is controlling your heart strings and your love is suffering in front of your eyes. Even without this ability, she will still cry in agony and pain seeing this boy she is destined to love suffering.

But unfortunately she was supposed to cry because it is kind of her ability qs explained in a spouler i read. She empathise and that might be the reason she was so loved by god because she is just so delicate
