finally got to finish reading this. at some point i got bored with their love story so like i skimmed through them flirting with each other. what i was invested in and made me stay to finish the story is the drama going on like wow deadass i cant believe the siblings almost got married (well technically they got married in the original novel). BOI THAT WAS SOME TEA. all in all, good read. i like lecian's only friend. may he find happiness himself.

started reading bec comments say the sisters are strong female leads but while reading, found out abt the little sister (mercenary, expectations, strong af) fell in love quickly with bran. i mean, nothing wrong with them falling for each other.. all good. just that, it was a letdown bec she was too easy?? got pregnant even??? tf is that. also i dislike the fact that the brothers are at an odds and the older brother has something against the younger being a magi. the love triangle is so strong when the older brother showed interest with the only single sister. idk i just lost the interest to continue reading when the younger sister let me down with my expectations towards strong female lead. lol while it was funny when she fell in love. i just cant.
