My Beloved Oppressor
This has an angst of a similar level to Violet Evergarden, with ML having PTSD from fighting so many wars and losing precious people. I cried my hardest especially when I saw how their relationship spiralled into madness. Anette became strong, really strong even after everything she went through. Both didn't deserve to suffer that way, yet they managed to be together. This deserves atleast 9.5+ ratings. Severe, somewhat realistic angst isn't for everyone as it IS Heavy, but don't worry, they become a better version of themselves and survive. It's portrayed so well that even though they both need therapy, one deserves the other. It's an angst done well. Some may still say they could have found someone else, but either Annette could possibly kill herself or ML would always remain stone cold robot mode, building a boundary to block others from entering.. Though ML is possessive, when he realises his mistakes, he lets Her meet other people, unlike typical clingy MLs who act childish just for no reason. If you don't mind a breath of heavy yet fresh air and wait for their Love to blossom, this Is for you. They might not have a picture perfect end, but them being happy is more than enough for me. I hope they can support each other for the rest of their lives.
