i was originally disappointed in the extras bc i thought it would be them raising the kids, so i skipped it to the part where he started giving birth in like idk joseon era. WTH DO YOU MEAN HE DIED IN CHILDBIRTH BRUHHHH I LOWKEY TEARED UP IT WAS TOO SAD.... they couldn't be together in their past life but they can now </3. lowkey can't continue the extras bc now i'm just upset lollll
kaneki is such a girl dad so this makes complete sense for them. it still kinda pmo that touka was kind of written out of the story in the middle there, but she did come back at the end at least. everything was wrapped up so nicely in the end, even if the chapter before was so sudden with the tonal whiplash in the final. the mangaka does love some time jumps lol, but this was such a fun ride. finally finishing reading the story from when i was in fifth grade to being a college junior, i feel satisfied.

fr i just finished reading this and was gonna comment like "was it just me or why was this so popular, super rushed w a terrible ending" LOL
everyone was actually so cute and i fear i found myself getting more invested in the second relationship more tho lol. idk why but im a lil sad the older brother didn't lose his marbles on that one bully guy bc that felt unsatisfying, but it makes sense for the story
