so i recently started reading this (im on ch. 35 rn) and the main two characters are insufferable </3. the assault, the pain in the ass main character with no backbone, and the dick general (?) guy all suck. i can't stand the main two characters,,, please tell me they get better? i'm only continuing to read for the world building and the side characters which i've enjoyed thus far but it'd be great if the main two characters got better too

It does get better but its slow af (they only resolved the misunderstandings in season 2 but there was big reason for it and very important to the plot point so im not gonna spoil it for you). And yesss!! The worldbuilding is quite interesting, atlhough id say we probably havent scratched the surface at this point so my suggestion for you would be to just wait it out and come back later on lmao

i was enjoying the story until the night after the marriage scene. it makes me anxious the fact that richard seems to be hiding part of his personality or something. there's definitely something darker happening and it makes me nervous for courtney. they better not switch roles and have her become the sub bc that would just piss me off

ngl once vivian finds out MC is a girl, I don't want her to lose her affection for her </3. i hate when shows do this and they just lose their love for the other character after they find out they were the same gender the whole time in secret. this is giving me flashbacks to heartcatch precure when this happened and i was like "why would that change anything" BRUHHH
they better not have known and loved each other in a previous life... i'm getting so tired of this trope, so many authors use that so they can skip over a relationship forming organically.
I tend to like that trope ONLY when they do the pining right/in a certain way (for me it involves a lot of tragedy and high stakes), but I definitely agree that for this one, even tho it looks like the author might go for that route /: , it doesn’t need it
