I thought that after they are married in the festival, they will be together like a couple. but its only for the festival and will be married and have a family with another person, but keep the custom until they (inari and ichio) have thier own sons to be able to pass and perform the tradition. i just felt sad because i thought that they will be together in the end however its only on the festival.
