I get where both of them are coming from.
Andrew being on guard when it comes to letting people in. And Luke being the opposite.. like being open and somehow seeing the good on people no matter what.
It's just that, well, I think it takes both qualities. There will always be times that a lot of people will be dragging you almost to your breaking point, that it'll be hard for you to trust, and always feel wary of them. And that's valid. And I think that's also where you learn to draw the line and set your boundaries. It's nice to see the good in people, but it won't also hurt to know what and how far you're going to tolerate--whether that be a mistake or intentional.
Guess both of them still have quite a long way to go.

It's bittersweet, but this also one of the parts I loved from the novel. And I am loving it again through this chapter.

but he never told him what really happened i understand that he didn’t want to make luke worry but he should’ve told him right then when he got locked up to prevent any more harm… but he kept it from luke and instead only gave him random remarks about his friends which if i was luke i wouldn’t take those warnings serious either since he doesn’t have a reason to their his friends after all. idk if he’ll be mad but i’m sure he doesn’t appreciate the fact that andrew never told him what really happened plus andrew threatened that guy which i’m sure luke would hate
Yeah, I understand that point as well. I'm just dreading the upcoming chaos and misunderstanding between the two.. due to both of them lacking communication. They're relationship's quite shaky to begin with. I can sense Andrew being quuuiiiteee obsessive, and Luke of course still coming into terms being in a relationship with a man. There are a lot of things going on making me always feel on edge reading this. ╥﹏╥ But let's just hope all these bumps on the road will definitely help them grow individually and in their relationship as well.. and be able to understand each other better.. I guess.

Anyway, ML has a lot, like really a lot to make up for the MC. But I do hope MC will accept ML's help 'cause he really needed someone as powerful and influential to put his psychopathetic brother in his place. And ML should really be redeeming himself and do everything in his power to protect MC. It's nice that he was able to communicate his thoughts in this chapter. Welp, there's gonna be a lot of misunderstandings but might as well get rid of them one at a time. I hope that they continue to communicate their thoughts and feelings, instead of doing plans and decisions on their own that just ended up hurting them both.
