I think Hiroya was blocked or something, since we see that he tried to call multiple times (we see like a phone bill message on his phone). I think they suck for eachother, both quickly decide by themselves how the situation is and accept it like a written fate ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This is pretty much exactly how it is raising a baby/toddler, endless cute mixed with tiredness mixed with being surprised at their wisdom beyond their years. It's fantastic. I love kids.
