Novel

I’d advise you to watch the live action series titled « The Untamed » first. The storyline is different from the novel but it makes you curious to know the true story.

Then proceed to watch both seasons of the anime with the same title as the novel and manhua. There’s still need for a season 3 so the incompleteness would drive you to want to read the novel.

Then you go to https://exiledrebelsscanlations.com/ to search « Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation » and read the novel to get the full story and take out all the unnecessary details the live-action series and anime added. The extras are filled with so much fluff, it would melt your heart faster than cotton-candy melts on your tongue.

Finally, come here to read the manhua and feast your eyes with the images the novel is trying to depict. Then you can patiently wait for updates like all of us are doing here

Then finally, go to YouTube and search for all you can about the anime, live-action series, novel, manhua and obsess to your heart’s content.

I would read the novel. It's the original. It has the most action, the most detail, the most romance, the most character development and of course the most sexiness lol but you do you. I personally went novel to manhwa to audio drama to anime to live action and I love every version. Btw the live action plot is decently different from novel

Ah looking at this now I definitely agree, I did start with the drama and animation but I got too curious to know the details and went to the novel, a couple of episodes in. Definitely am hooked now I feel like novels level of detail and development pretty much sealed the deal for me though a couple of episodes of the animation did help to imagine the characters and their names othwerise would have been lost with who’s who :)Also the censorship is definitely a shame

Yea the censorship sucks but I can still see their love story in every version so I'm not too bummed about it I mean those hot eyed stares in the drama are everything lmfao.
