Koreans known to be racist(especially old folks) and they're more to Buddhism and Christianity. Moreover, they protests against Islam before becuz Muslim people want to build mosque. And as Lyr said, they have too many religious scams that brainwashed them and made others wary of unfamiliar religions. So, I don't really surprised if any korean author being that...
