the development of the male leads mom was a nice touch, I know homophobic parents are the most realistic outcome in korea and she will most likely never understand her sons decision, but her making peace with the fact that she simply cannot control all he does was a good ending in my eyes.
also im not gonna lie with the comments i saw about mc's 1st boyfriend I was expecting him to be some massive dickhead red flag but he genuinely wasnt even that bad??? was their relationship toxic? probably, we genuinely didnt see too much of it. was I glad to see them remain 'friends'? yes, tho they might not have been good for each other as romantic partners I do think that they cared for one another in their own way, as we mostly saw at their last dinner scene.
