i only read the next few chapters cuz i got impatient so correct me if this gets redeemed or addressed later on— but is anybody else pissed that kei is so casual about cheating on ushio???? like yea he didn’t fully go through with it but he legit considered it and deadass was about to do it. like hey?! emotional cheating is a real thing! and it’s crazy that it gets brushed over.

kind of ruined it for me and makes me disappointed in him. but i’m hoping that they change this in the manga or clarify it more so he’s not deadass just lowkey accepting a proposal to cheat. i mean they also adapted it so it’s a lottt less rapey/dub con in the manga than in the novel and movie so i think there’s high hopes for another good alteration like that

I love the storyline, it’s just that— it’s so sad to know that yeon never gets to have a happy ending and some literally have a grudge against him… though I think the plot gave justice to his character, but damn, arrie/aryka looks like a pushover.

everything is perfect but I really just think Vince and yoen had better chemistry than with arrie tbh... don't come for me but personally I think aryka being yoen would've made more sense, maybe it wouldn't have been as unique but those two bro

This is a good story but gahdamn the ending was so anticlimactic, chairman should've been stabbed revived then tortured. I don't care if he's old, those were children he did those horrendous things to why should I give a damn if he's old?

How is that fat dirty pig gonna use the fact that Andrew and Luke are in a relationship? If it were in South Korea, I could see that it could harm their reputation. But it's mother-f-ing America and that's in a big city too not in some rural countryside where conservative people live.

Years reading BL in general, and this one has been one of the few the left me speechless since forever. The trauma, the scars both of them faced were so deep for their young soul. Each found different way to cover up the scars, one chose to let loose and destroy their body in other to attand salvation and forgiveness, the other locked themselves in a barrier to not face distrust. Both didn't trust, they can't, despite both being brilliant people, they covered themselves away cause of the hurt.

Despite saying he is a monster, the seme in this story is one of the greenest I have seen, his S tendencies are mostly left during segg, outside of it, he cares for his partner, he noticed other people feelings, the uke can see other people desires and greed as he is trained while the Seme unconciously does that to protect himself too. I dislike how the uke treated the seme in volume 3 but it's amazing how the author makes me understood his actions, and I don't hate him for it. They are both too problematic, thank god they found each other, please stay together and don't bring misfortune to other please.

The old man seeing himself as the uke guardian tho, you almost get him killed, what the fuq is he still viewing himself as such for? Lol.

Anyway, love the side couple, after all the trauma of the main couple, these two are genuinely the healing, slice of life couple man. They are both very cute.
Also the character development is amazing, looking at them in the first volume to the fourth volume, Daimon becoming more confident and shines just as he deserved and Youhei learned to love himself, voice out his true wishes to Daimon is chef kiss. Youhei treated Daimon well, because god damn it, this guy is a true gem, and beast in bed but a gentelmen outside is really so rare in BL especially when they are written well.

It’s not as bad as some of the comments say it is. The beginning starts off a little iffy but the more you read the more interesting and plot heavy it gets if ur reading it for the smut then you might get uncomfortable but reading it from a psychological pov makes it a really good read. 10/10 recommend if u liked mad k, black mirror, and heartless. :)

I'm so glad I waited for the right state of mind to read this.
From the first chapter this was going to be dark and twisted but it's so good in terms of plot, character development and pacing. It's rotten and doesn't glorify the terrible acts the characters are exposed to or do. Rape, trauma, injuries, mind control, manipulation, an unreliable narrator... this has everythig. Many times I found myself not believing what I was reading and at the brink of frustration. I hated it, I love it. This reminds me so much of Mizushiro Setona's writing style in the form that it makes me feel empty and not able to trust anyone but then... a ray of hope... or not. Pure realistic portrait of the complexities of human emotions.

I'm mad for reading this,

1. so many fillers but no romantic development between Lancer and Ravel and saying "YoU'rE ImPorTanT To Me" is not gay enough okay?? IT IS NOT ENOUGH, like they didn't even have a moment of 'I like/love you's OR any kind of formation of relationship between them???? WHAT??.?

2. Too much information and no information at all and it was all dumped at the ending, like Ravel's memories of his past was sealed, this deity something???, was Silver Gun also a part of the people that was affected pf Oblivion? if not why?, Also Silver Gun's real name and relationship with Ravel and Vontisse was just bombed at the end, the prince Orlando? Like what is that shadow of evil? what is it's origin again? Also why was he so powerful?, Unlike ravel who drunk Lancer's blood, how did lancer broke free from the spell 'Oblivion'?, What even is this story????

3. Man just changed colors to seal his brother again, what the fuck. What even happened???

4. This just gave me brain cancer The grammar is good but when you put together the dialogue (of the ending) it's so hard to understand bro

Since this got canceled I went and read the novel and I can't recommend it enough.

It was so good and the seme has the best character development ever and falls for the uke so naturally.
The smut is also much more slow burn in the novel if I remember right. I think only the side stories are rated mature (idk it's been a while).

Overall really wholesome with green flag seme.
