i always had this idea in my head about what if i’m a beta living in omegaverse man it would be both funny and annoying and this story takes that while going deeper into the sociopolitics of omegaverse as wel. and that SLOWBURN though? so satisfying not typically into director/ceo type of male lead but this one’s okay - i just really like competent and kind people and the ml was exactly like that

completely fell in love with mc’s character though hes also so kind and nonchalant and unintentionally funny. i wish we get to see more of his relationship w his sister and its so cute

rising to my all time favorite webtoons 100% for a romcom, much deeper than i thought

(spoilers ahead) it was pretty good, the main couple are two loveable idiots, the mc is supper stubborn which personally I like a lot lol, but he also had a nice growing arch and learned that he was being really judgmental. The ml is a green flag, he also learned from his mistakes and was supper respectful and supportive of the ml, and a story with a green flag Alfa as the ml is always a good story.
Now, I hope the second couple don't get back together and that the glasses dude finds 1. some self love and respect, because he needs it, and 2. someone better that actually loves him and doesn't ABUSE him. And I hope that a truck finds the other dude and hits him right on the cheek (and yeah, I read the extras of them, and idc. you know what? I'll drive the damn truck myself even)

I know the ml had trauma, but he's really annoying me because of how he keeps wanting to vomit when he starts an intimate act with the mc. He wanted to be in a relationship with the mc, but he should atleast tell the mc why he feels nauseous so the mc won't get hurt and could understand him better. The mc keeps getting hurt because he doesn't say anything, he might get jealous at some stuff but atleast the mc never hurt his feeling as bad as thinking someone you liked was so disgusted at you that they want to vomit. (This part is from when the mc's view of the ml shattered, when he told the ml he was an omega.)

ML shouldn’t start hitting on MC and initiate physical contact if he can’t handle it. Anybody would be hurt if they knew that the person they like are disgusted with them. He should first try to fix his aversion. MC has been keeping his distance, he should do the same. That’s why you need to do a clean break up with no contact after it, messy situations like that happen irl too. Stay safe you all.

Story is adorable but the pacing is horrendous. No build-up, or let's say the build-up was generally lacking. The story is good for a light read on a tiring afternoon but not for serious engagement.

Great concept of romeo x juliet but the execution could have been better

just that some plot points are too fast and it ends up consuming the coherence of the story, like the tension between the groups or the sex deal with the main couple- there was not much substance as to why the uke just suddenly stripped and serviced the seme when he said the repercussion is inevitable, like didn't he dislike the attempted rape in the prev chap? Also the issue is not with the seme in the first place, it's with the oyaji so how tf will seme stop that dude if like he said, the oyaji will fight back simply because he likes fighting in general and would practically take any reason to do it? I appreciate that it focused on romance and did in a way that isn't too lovey dovey and gag-inducing however the other essence of the plot suffered for it instead. Solid 4/5 coz of the pretty characters and beautiful artstyle.
