the real bad guy aint Ji Eun or even the Prince. The prince was actually a victim too.
The real bad guy is Tia's Grand father (yaknow the old asshole). He is the mastermind behind all the mess.
He had manipulate the Prince (when the emperor died) and made him hate Tia by using his trauma. And then he used Ji Eun as a tool to play with the Prince feelings. It was also a chance for him to dispose of Tia and take the empress crown away from her.
Also in reality the Prince never killed Tia's father, he just held him captive in order to make Tia suffer till she die.
But then the prince started realizing how all of this was a trap that Tia's grand father had set. He was even poisonned by the same poison used on Tia to make her lose her mind and go crazy. (which is actually why he was always so freaking mad at Tia for no reasons at all)
After realizing that the prince pushed Ji Eun away, thinking that she knew about all of this. The prince felt really desperate and trapped but at the same time guilty for all the madness he made tia's go throught.
And from what I remember it was too late for the prince to do anything because he was really poisonned and was dying already. Ji Eun's baby was the only heir... so Tia's grand father used him to take the emperor place when the prince's died. I think, I don't really remember anymore...
oh and Ji Eun really didn't know anything about that. She's litteraly an air head that got easily manipulated by an old fart. When the god gave her the opportunity to go back to her world, she refused and decided to go back in time to take revenge and make the prince suffer as much as she did when he abandonned her... lol. dkdndn But later on she will realized it was tia's grand father fault. She will support Tia and the prince's love too and will deeply regret that she didn't decided to go back to her world.

I think if that meanie old man didn't poison the Prince, there'd be a slight chance for him and Tia in the past even after Jieun appeared. And I pity Jieun too for being the tool and received something bad in the end as well esp knowing the fact that she was alone in a foreign world with no family at all. I just hope both Tia and Prince can settle every things out between them to make it clear quickly and that all of them (except the meanie old man and his followers) can find true happiness that will suit each of them ┗( T﹏T )┛
