I think it's just season 1 of the manhwa. I vaguely remember checking out the novel's ending at a Korean website and it's a happy ending. But I'm not sure so I hope others can confirm.
it’s hard to tell on this site, sometimes people say stuff like this when it’s a straight up tragic ending but sometimes people are like "omg I cried a million tears" because the couple got separated for 2 minutes and then reunited lol
