Gosh, I knew we wouldn’t really get a happy ending, but it really felt unfair. Pierre deserved wayyy better. Poor guy wasn’t helped at all.
And if only she didn’t eat Adelaide, we would have had our happy ending. Like, seriously… after all this constant angst I wish the ending was a bit softer. I feel like I have suffered just to suffer now TwT
The story was greatly written and it was a really interesting ride, but having been reading this for more than 10 years I feel bad

Koanda created a topic of Backlight

Oooh ok I understood! So back when they where highschoolers, there WERE a bit something between them, thought they each hid it behind a « we’re just making out for fun lol ». As they each grew feelings, MC sees ML kissing someone in the class and gets heartbroken. BUT we can see on the kissing panel the moles are not the right ones, it’s ML’s twin! Who is wearing a wig apparently cause that’s not his hair color.
So then we get MC who thinks that the « we’re just making out for fun lol » was indeed for fun and no flirting, and he breaks things up with ML. Things happen, ML’s twin dies, years pass, and MC and ML met again. They both are « oh, my old crush who broke my heart by being interested in someone else/breaking up out of nowhere! I might have a chance this time! ».
But they are both idiots who won’t talk about « hey last time when we were in high school you did this I was sad. I had a crush on you it’s a bit embarrassing but YEARS HAVE PASSED SO I CAN TALK ABOUT IT ». So instead they feel anxious around each other and play a game of tag. So yeah, now I understand why ML thinks MC is weird with his boundaries.
Only mystery left is why the brother wore a wig and why he died. Was he jealous of ML and trying to pass as him to destroy his reputation?

Actually, there has always been bad and sh#tty movie getting made and getting out in the theaters. Good movies, like in any piece of media, always is a small percentage of what gets out. It’s just that now, since we have an easier access to everything, we have a larger cinema culture, and thanks to the advancement of technology we have access to ......

Huh… There’s no logic in this. There’s no logical reason for how saving him from the death would make him forget every single thing about him. If it’s punishment for cancelling his death, make it obvious it is punishment. Not some « consequences you have to bear », things work how they work because of some logic. Explain it ToT
And if it’s not punishment… well there’s no reason for a magic ball that is made for the dragon to be able to stay forever with his partner to erase all memory of him from his partner…
this amnesia arc seems so forced TwT… way to drag things out…

I’ve really enjoyed the serie so far, but I wish they would make it make sense. Using amnesia trope is okay, but please introduce it properly…

First of all, I find it more cringe that the concept of writing a story or fanfiction is somehow meant to be cringe? Or did I misinterpret that? I don't know, may be a pet pieve of mine, because I am a writer myself. Aside from that, writing FanFictions is like riding a bike on training wheels, and the amount of people reading them make it clear it......

In my opinion, if he was just after your body he would have asked you out after 3 weeks, not 3 years. You had the time to build a relationship and to get to know each other. That’s a good amount of time to build feelings, and not the length of a relationship people just throw away the window just for pillow time? Unless he is the type of people w......

Really pretty art, cute or interesting or both characters, and scenarios that have some varieties (not in the theme, but with the execution). You can see they are having fun writing too. Nice balance of fun characters, interesting interaction and hot scenes. They often have some pretty nice twists also. I get that seeing some of their really twist......

Coming from someone who went throught a period like that some years ago, what you’re talking about just screams depression :/ like no doubt You don’t have to see a psychiatrist to diagnose that, just a regular doctor can prescribe you something. It usually takes about a month for the pills to work, but once it does the taste for things and fun......
Koanda created a topic of The Blood Of Madam Giselle

I understood a bit better the ending after coming back a year later
SPOILERS COMING, AND IN A BIG LONG POST

So when I read it last year I coulnd’t understand why Giselle just killed Isaac with no remorse, and why there was at the same time a mini Isaac and a monster adult one in the epilogue.

So first point : Giselle didn’t try killing Isaac, she actually saved him.
In ep60, when Isaac flees, I think he’s running to the top of the hill to kill himself with the sunrise. Giselle comes to shoot him so the other hunters think she finished him off and they leave him alone. And by shooting him he falls and ends up in the forest, safe from burning in the sun.
What makes me think that is that in the epilogue, her friend asked if Giselle actually used the silver bullet (that would have really killed him). From a narrative standpoint, the only use of having this question is to say Giselle didn’t.

Next point, I’m actually not completly sure, I have two theories. (If we’re lucky the author left clues ? TwT )
In this ending, I think that either Isaac came back as a kid since he didn’t drink blood for years, and found Giselle back cause he’s still attached to her in some ways. And the bizarre guy at the end could then be the actual real serial killer who is just some creep who’s following Isaac around. (Cause yeah, Isaac being sometimes a killer, why not, but since the beginning that seems way too incoherent)
That, or the creepy guy IS Isaac, who either just finally found Giselle and came with a kid for Giselle to care for, or has been staying in contact with Giselle and the kid actually is theirs.

The way the ending was written felt like the author wanted to punish someone (her editors ? Some bullies in the comments ?), and seemed quite mean spirited in the way it was done. But I think that she naturally might have gotten too attached to her characters to really hurt them. That would be pretty natural as an author. So she might have juste narrated in a bad ending an actually happy written ending ? Hope they still like writing and haven’t fallen out of love of telling stories yet, they really are a great story teller. And hope that they’ve started healing from whatever might have happened to them
