i tried really hard to like this but idk man i get the appeal but it has soo many flaws that are hard to look past n it feels sorta unfinished even tho its complete

story was fine right up until they went to the real world like why's this story so random a streamer?? really????

obviously this story isn't perfect and its flaws have alrdy been brought up by a lot of other reviewers that i agree with (plot hole central), but i still really enjoyed it. I just wanted to make a quick comment about the characters. i was pretty surprised how interesting they all were and how much i wanted more for basically all of them (especially in comparison with the lack of this in Paid for the side characters). For example, kid, king, the sister girl, even lion were all really interesting and i wish there was more of them ong BUT that only made it more disappointing when it came to Cherry especially. Cherry had SO much potential that i feel was wasted as the story went on and i ended up just not liking him or being interested in him which was annoying bcs i really like king. Cherry was just kinda shallow with minimal development or ties with any other character other than king. Its a shame bcs his dynamic with Love couldve been SO good. Also, the purple hair jerk guy's ending was sorta lame but ig it made sense. overall, i enjoyed this story lots n its def worth the read and tho there are flaws cherry's specific character waste was the only one that REALLY bothered me.

I read this on a whim from some tt rec without even reading the synopsis, and on my life, this might've just been the best whim i've ever had. I dont think its possible for me to ever forget this story, and i really don't want to. Genuinely love this story, Llewellyn and Shavonne so much its crazy. this has my hearttt, 10/10 without a doubt.
