id say it’s worth it, especially if you like the tough bottom x soft (but obsessive and can be intimidating at times) top trope. the is ONE scene of partial(?) sa between the main couple. however, that scene only happens bc of extreme circumstances (SPOILERS AHEAD CONCERNING THE SA SCENE)

i say partial sa bc yes it was sa but it is more stomach-able than other bls? ik the standard is on THE FLOOR.
anyways, what basically happens is that the top, Matthew, gets drugged (NOT BY JIN!!). the bottom, Jin, tries to take care of Matthew after this. Matthew ends up thinking he’s dreaming and ends up forcing himself on an injured Jin. Matthew does this very aggressively (prior events sent him into a bit of a jealous rage). Again, Matthew thinks he’s dreaming. Jin kind of goes along with it a little in the sense that he doesn’t really like it but just wants to take care of Matthew? Not trying to excuse anything but again these are better circumstances than the usual “IDC ABT YOU IDC WHAT YOU WANT, IM GONNA FUCK YOU” scenarios in BL.
after the sa scene, Matthew immediately regrets it when he’s sober and spends the next couple chapters trying to make up for it/ feeling guilty. AGAIN NOT TRYING TO MAKE EXCUSES!! but im just saying it’s not as bad as something like killing stalking or painter of the night (before the redemption arc)
