This might be a controversial opinion, but I don’t think Jun is a bad person at all. He’s definitely a people pleaser and is super fake, but he hasn’t actually hurt anyone. In fact, he’s protected the weak, even if it was just to show off, which makes him a relatively good person in my opinion. I’d say he’s morally gray at best; he’s not entirely good or bad. He’s aware of the negative impact some of his actions could have, so he avoids doing them
As for the other characters han taesan is nothing but a victim who deserves better yohan is hilarious and his comment about jun going to heaven for being homophobic killed me (like yeah clock Christian again for me ) and the other guy is just annoying and mean asf for no reason

Now this is a comment I can agree to, tho jun doesn't like taesan he still helps him and unlike some characters I've seen who show themselves good out side but are the complete opposite inside and hurt the innocent cuz they don't like them or for their entertainment jun on the other hand doesn't do anything reckless.

I hate when people with zero critical thinking or literacy read a story that obviously requires it. Like, sorry, but Haruki not believing a guy who’s been a freak since the very beginning of the story makes perfect sense. Y’all are out here saying, 'I can’t believe he trusted a guy he’s known for two days over his friend,' but that’s the same friend he’s been wary of since day one for being weird, mysterious, and dangerous. I don’t get why y’all are acting like Haruki hasn’t been trying to connect the dots between Shirayuki and the bully’s disappearance. Like, yes, when someone makes a valid point about a completely mysterious situation, people tend to believe it. Haruki was bullied, and nobody ever did anything to stop it. Of course, he wouldn’t believe someone did it for no reason when an entire high school didn’t do anything—that makes more than perfect sense. Everyone is blaming haruki but nobody is talking about the fact that this wouldn’t have happen if they didn’t have a toxic one sided friendship with only haruki talking about himself while shirayuki isn’t giving a single clue about his life

Everyone supports victims of abuse until they aren’t the perfect victim anymore and it’s soooo weird…
Was Haruki right in this whole matter? No, of course not. But this could have been avoided if Shirayuki hadn't been so weird and had communicated a bit more. His sister warned him about Shirayuki, another guy warned him, and Haruki himself wasn't sure about him. When he asked Shirayuki, he didn't say anything. And you know what they say; silence is an answer.
I could kind of understand almost every character in this story, except for those two grey-haired brothers. They were rich, privileged people who had never experienced anything truly traumatizing, yet they were the most messed-up characters in the entire story. From rape to child abuse, killing innocent people while being fully aware of it, and even incest, how do you even justify that????
Max's father's actions were understandable because everything he did was to save his son. Mr. M's actions were also understandable, as he was brainwashed his entire life to the point of going so insane he even took out his own eye. Chris was perfect, and so was Nathan and his husband. Max was a morally grey character, but as Nathan said, if he had lived a different life, things could have turned out completely differently for him. He was groomed by the adults around him.
Now this one might be controversial but to me, Mr. M and Max are essentially the same person… the only difference is that one got help and was loved at some point in his life, while the other had no one and spent most of his life as a test subject for Harry’s experiments.
