I'm so disappointed with this chapter, I really hoped it would be more like he would really have treated him with grace, dignity and all according to his wishes. Like he would dote on him, share their love of music, and the story would've show that the og lover was more of a surface level love and they, cause Erik is disfigured, would've built genuine connection. I thought he would have just asked him to stay for 5 days, but the sudden waterboarding? The sa again... What I hate about the toxic BLs those authors make that when they draw rape scenes they don't even think it's rape and just try to convince everyone that's it's just toxic sex... Like let's not gaslight ourselves we all knew it was gonna be toxic, but they don't even draw it to show us a dark story with rape and show us the repercussions and the mental and physical distress that results from this, they just wanna sell it as dark romance, toxic but both sided. You can just see rape culture dripping from it...
