Okay so i went to the authors page and found out that hes a man (for those calling him a she) and that the boy and tera will have a "platonic romance", he also cleared that there won't be any kissing since the boy is 17 (which he said it was put on purpose so readers knew they werent getting any nsfw)but he really went on circles abt the queerbaiting (which i truly don't know if it is or not).
he also made a suggestion abt the only one falling in love being the boy which is crazy bc rn tera is crazy abt him

yeah i heard the author said all that a long time ago since I've been following this story from early on and in the recent chapters, it's way obvious that they both are developing feelings that are more than platonic for each other, perhaps the author might change his mind and actually make them a couple, maybe after some more plot development since the boy has turned eighteen

No apparently that's the real nephtys. The mirror is kinda cursed so it sorta separated nephtys personality. The one whose I love with Seth is trapped in the mirror while the one who was brainwashed is the one that's walking around.
(Ps. Someone said that the mirror was cursed to make Seth fall in love with Osiris when he looks into it but nephtys ended up being the one who found it so she ended up getting brainwashed into falling in love with Osiris and not Seth. (The mirror was meant for Seth)

The summary goes: (SPOILERS)
Theirs another god called "Horus the elder" who was an original part of the four ennead, son of nut and geb, and was lovers with Seth (wild I know) and he "saw something he shouldn't have" and therefore was killed. This might have happened before Seth and the others awakened as a god which is why they didn't have memory of him.
Anyways, Horus the elder reincarnates as the Horus we see today :) and manages to fall in love with Seth for a second time. Which is why the mirror doesn't work on him. The mirror was programmed so that "the one he currently loves" and the "one he was supposed to love was switched". Both of which, to Horus, was already Seth.
Hathor must have assumed Horus would see her as "the one he was supposed to love" instead when she tweaked that freaky ahh mirror. Y'know how delulu girl is.
