Tbh him having this reaction is normal. I know people expect everyone to understand what liking someone means but depending on the environment they lived in some people simple can't. He grew up in a very abusive situation, being guilt tripped for just existing, ofc he would just go along with what Hyun wanted bc he's subconsciously afraid of rejecting any action taken by others since they do it "for him"
