I really hope this goes into the fondness/friendship before anything romantic first, sure Dan's into him but this is as one-sided as they come, besides that one "jealousy" thing with that actor there's not a flying fuck of a spark between them rn

I'd be really shallow if jaekyung "realized" his love for Dan just because he left
If that was the case jaekyung is a character written without sense and beyond repair, since his character rn makes sense if he never saw Dan in that way, but if that was supposed to be "romantic slow burn tension" then I can't defend this author any longer

(It wouldn't surprise me bc that's how it happened in bj alex, though Alex was different with dg than Jae is with dan, as he wasn't completely stone cold like jae)

But if this goes into a realizing that he needs dan generally more than he thought (and other leople) or that they meet again and he's not on his high horse anymore, Making it possible for him to see dan as a person and then falling in love, I think all of this was worth it

what in the starter BL drama/"plot twist" cutesy shit did I just read, I get those chewed up and spit out tropes they can be a pretty cozy read but this felt too on the nose (bonus points for high-school childhood friends, mister nice oblivious x wannabe yandere that can't fucking put his hands outta these damn sleeves)

Yooo it's time for yall to read the whole thing again, i was disliking both of them so much in the recent chapters because I only got to see their bullshit
But I feel like we kinda forgetting jaekyung was a perfect Grey to almost green flag at the start (to a man he just wanted to fuck)
The whole grandma visit, paying his whole damn loan and beating them up, thinking of the docs words with the kissing, the man's been so fucking stressed with anger issues but I feel like there could be a decent redemption arc ngl


(Also if we think about jaekyung and how he treats Dan, his physician, who he fucks only for his career while the whole thing comes crumbling down, his shoulder and stuff, I guess it's pretty valid to get annoyed at someone who currently has his head on cloud nine as someone who should only be working for him, especially when Jaekyung probably has no time to even think about romance rn) - still no excuse to take his anger out on him but I think it kinda makes sense in a way? At least character wise
