It's pretty much I just love how they develop and just seeing an angry boy flustered but also realizing that they feel emotions other than being a shit is some of the best content for me. Unfortunately not every bl manga I've read does this.

Also people tend to overlook how characters just have different upbringings or experiences which most of times if not all will influence how they behave or trust. It's always a favorite of mine to see how angry characters develop from this.

Depends on how they're written. Any guy, doesn't matter how much of a fuckin' asshole he is, if the story AND the character is written well then I like him. Doesn't matter if the guy is a sadist, if his character is one-dimensional, it's trash lol.

oh that, i don't think they're a rarity. I don't know if you're familiar with otome but if you check the highest rated bachelors in mobile dating sims like voltage apps, you can tell the popular ones are the sadistic, arrogant, asshole type of men. Y'know the saying, women prefer bad boys? might as well be an extension, yeah?

I think people liking non-asshole type of 'semes' are more rare ╮(￣▽￣)╭ people nut whenever a hot dude tries to dominate and tease the shit outta ya no matter the genre.

i think folks who complain about asshole semes are a rather vocal minority, really loud to compensate the amount of people who like these sort of semes. that's why there's a lot of them in BL, yknow? The masses don't need to speak up about it.
