this looks very promising but the moment the cat said he has longer lifespan, it’s a skip for me. i can’t do this trope unless they both become immortal or sum. luckily they stated that info early cuz i couldn’t bear the feeling that 1 of them is going to die first and the other will be left alone
if you havent given this story another chance yet i really think you should come back and try reading it!! it's a really beautiful and sweet story, and the author leaves their fate kind of open ended, so you can decide whether they both end up having the same lifespan or not!
if you're still unsure, skip to chapter 8 page 15 on here and read the author's note and judge if that is happy enough...
sorry for the long reply, i just really love this story and want people to read it, especially since that's the only thing stopping you from reading it!!
what does natsume do for a living lol. didn’t get to see his house even once, all he does is laze around all day. how did he survive prior to meeting takato?? is he even a working adult or a uni student or what, there’s literally no background info
I mean, his family did integrate into human society a long time ago. And he does seem to, you know, wear clothes, eat, sleep on a bed, enjoy a roof over his head and so on… does anyone really have to do anything for a living or is it as my good friend Baloo said,
Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life
*aggressive applaud *
