lol you. pretty sure it was translated directly from Nanohana (rapeseed flower). English with all it's weirdness called it 'rapeseed'. it was closely related to 'canola' flower. rapeseed oil is very popularly used in Japan, the flowers are beautiful, but too bad for that stupid name.
