I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover but honestly, no. I read a comment where someone said the MCs had sex near a decapitated child and I don’t see any „psychological“ or „tragedy’“ track to warrant such a scene to be here this is prob one of these really toxic stories that get portrayed as silly and just leaves anyone infuriated who actually wants to read a good story. I also heard it has many plot holes. You can make of this what you will but I certainly don’t wanna waste my time with this

Yes. There is mention of abuse. This is a rebirth story starting with the second timeline and the abuse was within the first. It is never graphically protrayed yet not shied away from either.
New timeline, New chain of events, different choices, different interactions. The second timeline is rather healthy, in my opinion. The way the emperor asks questions, does his best to understand, and repents mistakes, is better than most people I know. And the two are distinct different races (nonhuman x human pairing) with completely different makeup, society, common sense, priorities, and meanings for words. Misunderstandings can be vicious and heartbreaking. As I said before, this is 'abusive 1st timeline and new start/redemption/growth 2nd timeline'
Also, if you want to figure out if want to read a story or not, don't rely on someone who openly admits they didn't even attempt to read it. Their info is wrong. Seriously!!!!! Having sex near a decapitated child?!!!! Way to totally misconstrue story events into something horrific and disgusting! If I were the author, I would be insulted.
Give it a try please. It's worth the read honestly.
I know it won't excuse the ml's behavior but I cried when I saw just how he's actually giving effort for our mc in their relationship. This became my comfort read tbh. Always coming back to reread this manwha
