i remember in my first year of prepa (mexa hs), the english teacher gave us a video assignment, we were doing a play like,
it was suppose to be a group project and somehow my group ended with half classroom, so when the day of the shooting was chose, you saw around 20 rowdy kids riding all the way across the city bus to get to the location, which was a classmate's place
so at the time, in the group, i think i had the better english of the bunch, so they put me as a director (lololol) we shot all day, awkardly, with whatever half-assed script and costumes we had, trying to put the best amauter acting i could pull out of those 15 and 16 year olds, in the most broken english ever, needless to say it was ... exhilarating (xD lolol)
almost dark we wrapped it up and just as we are start to pick up everything i had to apologize to everyone--- due to me not having enter my evil era yet (saying bad words), i was still naive and felt bad talking to my peers in a no respectful way (lololol (￣∇￣") ) i told them how much i felt having to give them orders and acting all shitty (not so shitty, just enough to have the work done in a timely manner !!) and all that
they told me they didnt felt like that and that i was necessary either way, which put me at ease
we presented it, the teacher wasnt so convince put still gave us an ok grade at the end
aaaaaaanyway
what a love of this memory is that i dont even remember what the final video was like, heck, i dont even remember what play was it, all i remember is the process, the lack of technique, of planning, the exciment combined with terror at working with so much people cuz, we may have been 20 peeps but the reality is that most of them were actors !! and just 5 or 4 were helping for the other stuff, so it was CHAOS fo shooo
but even with all that i cherised this so much so yeah, the manga is pretty good, i love its spirit lolol (≧∀≦)
pd. i wasnt "somehow ended with half class" the truth is that half of the class wasnt as good on english and they just wanted to be grouping with somebody that was good at it and my group had very approachable people and they just stick to us which makes me laugh even more lol kakaka
You can tell when the story is gonna be messed up (or at least a bit spooky) just from the cover and boy, this sure is a very interesting one !!
