Last week someone in the comments directed me to the novel and I read the whole thing in two days. I was so enthralled, though the manhwa adaptation of this moment is pleasing (if it were on its own without a novel) it's missing so much from the novel that it is kinda disappointing.

The parallels between young Mincheol and our current ML is kinda worrying. Young Mincheol approached Hae soo on his own, showed her attention and was there for her during a difficult situation. Our current ML pretty much has done the same, young Mincheol at least we can argue was young and had good intentions meanwhile the ML is so sketchy. I am struggling to trust him, he seems to have approached the FL on purpose and has studied her in order to portray himself in a way that she would get her.
