Basically it’s true that she’s not the mother of the child. Especially showing that she was born and raised in the prison, so it was impossible for her to ever meet him and have a child.
However the truth is that it all has to do with the dragon race. Dragons are immortal however they use shells of bodies and just transfer to a new body whenever they’re done with the previous one. That is what happened to the FL. She was the ML’s wife who she had a child with, but the body died and so FL’s soul went into the next body (the current one she has now). The thing is, usually whenever dragons transfer to a new body, they keep their memories. But FL somehow lost her all her memories. I haven’t read how yet and I don’t remember which chapter they get together.
