lol agree on the second one but I think the first thing was more about how he felt like he had no clue about his friend's feelings and he never felt that way for anyone himself, so he was wondering if he's too naive to understand love, thus not capable. At least that's what I thought.

You don’t even have to read to the end. The point is the last 2/3s of the story have almost no connection to the beginning. Don’t have to read to the end to see that.

Imagine you were the one who couldn't stand be touched but the person who is supposed to be helping you starts groping you. That doesn't sound very consensual. Non-consensual=rape.
Plus who said they read this to the end? Perhaps they dropped it after all the rape scenes. You don't he need to finish reading it to see that they're going to end up together because that's just how 99% of these stories always end up. /rolls eyes/
