Am I the only one who likes the mc? He said before that it's not like he has never accepted trying to set his friend up with someone. He only doesn't want that guy to date his friend because he seems openly promiscuous and makes the alarm in his head go off, but even then he doesn't go crazy with the cockblock. Right. MC is written well enough for the reader to actually understand empathise with his decisions even if we personally don’t agree. Like you said, I think a lot of bl writers have done easy cop outs with stock standard personalities (and without any proper justification).
