He is poor so he needs to stick with those who have money . Maybe he is a masochistic too who knows. I can't read this , he is a good man with a good heart he doesn't deserve harsh treatment. Falling between two twisted women isn't good at all
The ML seems seasoned with an ulterior motive of his own so I wouldn't rush to feel sad for him just yet lol Whatever kind of sad back story he may have, after working in that industry for years I am sure he has toughened up. I think you have fallen for his facade just like the gardener did lol I cannot wait to see his real intentions show more (seems to have shown himself a bit when interacting with Rosa). And Rosa's mother already paid off his debt so he is not in immediate need for money anymore. As for the manhwa artist Hyobin-nim is actually female as far as I can tell from their acc and wording/honorifics. And imo the female characters do not look masculine at all at least visually, though they do possess a dominant air that I suppose you could interpreted it as "masculine" since in most similar plotlines female leads are supposed to appear more shy/fragile white lotuses and it's the men taking over with their dominance. If you think about it this manhwa feels like an uno reverse of the usual trope of this type.

Ok so what we can deduce so far.
1- the husband has a crush on her since early age but she was in love with Taemin . He was a third wheel just a friend abd he didn't like that. He loves her yet he is a creep who is taking revenge bcz she didn't choose his first. He hired the ml bcz he still feels insecure and jealous of taemin . He wants her to cheat so that she can't take a penny after the divorce and to take revenge on her and on taemin for being each other's first love. He is a prevert creep and a psycho .
2 - Sena is a vernim . Is this how u repay the one who supported u ! . She is disgusting znd sooooo jealous of the fl. We all know that the shitty husband os not the only one at fault . She wanted him too. She has an inferiority complex and she is spiteful
3 - the ml maybe is the real brother of taemin . He is hired by the husband to lure the fl so she lose in court and he serves as a test. So currently he is working with the husband and he is coaxing her to sleep with him .but he will obviously fall for her . Maybe he fell for her looong ago who knows.
4 - the FL is ALONE at this point. The ml is not trustworthy but let's hope he will not hurt her.
