it doesn't excuse any of his actions but they're still both at fault for their situation right now. a bigger fault doesn't completely override the lesser fault just cause it's worse in nature, so technically the both still hold the blame for their fucked up situation

I don't think that's what they meant. Of course it's not Dohyun's fault for getting kidnapped. However, Dohyun has his share of mistakes regarding their "relationship" in the past where Dohyun manipulated Sungho emotionally and physically knowing Sungho's feelings. It doesn't justify the kidnapping and rapes its just a fact that Dohyun AND Sungho made horrible mistakes that unfortunately changed the trajectory of their lives forever.

yeah I never said that lmao. he isn't at fault for getting kidnapped and raped, but obviously the actions of sungho are encouraged of the way he was treated when they were young. that again doesn't justify anything and dohyun doesn't deserve what's happening to him but to say he doesn't have any faults and made no mistakes if kind of unfair

you literally started with "I can't believe people think they're both at fault." that makes me think you believe that he doesn't share his own blame. of course none of it is justified nor excused but he Does have his faults and that's all im trying to establish here. maybe word your point a bit better next time if you do think he has his own faults in this, your original comment was misleading.

I did say that, but I followed it with ‘Yeah Dohyun didn’t treat him well when they were young, but that does not excuse Sungho kidnapping him and raping him constantly’. I acknowledged that Dohyun did have faults. So when you said ‘they still hold the blame for their fucked up situation’ it lead me to believe that you were talking about the kidnapping, since that was the main point of my comment, not that Dohyun didn’t have any ‘faults’.

you followed it up with that which made it sound like you didn't consider that a fault in the face of what Sungho did. which is also why I said in my first reply that a bigger fault doesn't override a smaller one. in the end i think we can agree that while both were at fault, none of the actions are excusable and we mostly just misinterpreted each other's comments
